Owner & Operations Lead
Steph, originally from Sydney, Australia, brings over six years of professional experience in dog behavior and obedience training. Her career even included working with bird-deterrent dogs at the Sydney Opera House and Cockatoo Island. At Paws at Play, she oversees all operations, ensuring every walk and boarding stay is safe, enriching, and personalized to each dog’s needs. Steph’s mix of expertise and compassion makes her a trusted leader who gives pet parents complete confidence in the care their dogs receive.
Lauren
Co-Owner & Finance Lead
Born and raised in Vancouver, Lauren combines her degree in Finance and Accounting from Macquarie University with a lifelong love for animals. She manages the business side of Paws at Play, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client service. Outside of work, she cares for her own dogs, cats, and horse. Lauren’s dedication, organizational skill, and genuine affection for animals help create a service experience that’s as reliable as it is caring.
Leanne
Senior Dog Walker
From Carlow, Ireland, Leanne has been part of Paws at Play for nearly six years. Her deep understanding of dog personalities allows her to create safe, happy, and balanced walking groups. She’s known for her reliability, warm approach, and ability to adapt each walk to a dog’s unique temperament. For clients, Leanne is more than a walker—she’s a trusted friend who treats every dog as if they were her own.
Valentina
Dog Walker
Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Valentina holds degrees in Biology and Marine Biology, bringing a thoughtful and observant approach to animal care. She notices every detail, from a dog’s mood to their comfort level, ensuring they feel safe and understood. Whether exploring Vancouver’s trails or strolling through the park, Valentina creates an experience that is enriching, calm, and full of connection. Her care makes both dogs and owners feel at ease.
Siobhan
Dog Walker
From Cork, Ireland, Siobhan has a degree in Social Care Work and a natural ability to create calm, enjoyable experiences for dogs. Her gentle, confident handling makes even shy pups feel secure, while her friendly nature keeps walks positive and engaging. Siobhan blends professionalism with genuine warmth, making her a favorite among both dogs and their humans.

Dog Walker
Originally from Iran, Sina has a background in Mechanical Engineering and a lifelong love for animals. Growing up with German Shepherds and rescue cats shaped his patient and caring approach. In Vancouver for over four years, he brings a calm, steady energy to every walk, making even challenging outings stress-free. His mix of technical precision and heartfelt care ensures dogs are safe, comfortable, and happy from start to finish.
